The film revolves around the life of Bhootnath (played by Paresh Chattopadhyay), a middle-aged man who runs a small business. He gets married to a much younger woman, Kakoli (played by Swara Bhaskar). However, their relationship is put to test when Bhootnath's past comes back to haunt him.
