It's the year 2007, and a mutated strain of the measles virus has decimated the human population. Robert Neville (played by Will Smith) is the last human survivor in New York City. Immunized against the virus, he spends his days scavenging for food and supplies, and his nights fortified in his home, waiting for the infected to pass by.
