"The Wandering Earth 2" is a Chinese science fiction film directed by Guo Fan and based on the novella of the same name by Liu Cixin. The movie takes place in a future where the Sun is expanding, threatening to engulf the Earth. In a last-ditch effort to save humanity, scientists devise a plan to propel the Earth out of the solar system using a massive thrust engine.
