The film tells the story of Kevin Lomax (Keanu Reeves), a young and ambitious lawyer who lands a job at a prestigious law firm in New York City. Unbeknownst to Kevin, the firm, Milton & Chadwick, is actually a front for the devil's operations on earth. As Kevin becomes increasingly successful, he begins to suspect that something is amiss.
