The year is 1969. Indiana Jones, now in his mid-50s, has retired from his adventures as an archaeologist. He's living a quiet life in New York City, working as a professor at Marshall College. However, his peaceful existence is short-lived. A former Nazi officer, Helmut Eisenstadt, emerges from the shadows, seeking to acquire the Dial of Destiny. Eisenstadt believes the artifact will allow him to alter the course of history, giving the Nazis a second chance.
