John Wick, a former hitman, has retired from his violent past. He's grieving the loss of his wife, Helen, who died of cancer. As a token of her love, she gifted him a beagle puppy, Daisy, to help cope with his loneliness. However, his peaceful life is short-lived. Iosef Tarasov, the son of a powerful Russian crime lord, Viggo Tarasov, breaks into John's house, kills his dog, and steals his vintage Mustang. This act of violence sets John Wick back into action.
