The plot revolves around the park's new genetically engineered hybrid dinosaur, the Indominus rex, which escapes and wreaks havoc on the park. As the situation spirals out of control, Owen and Claire team up with a Velociraptor named Blue and Claire's nephews, Zach and Gray, to survive and stop the Indominus.
