Leya DeSantis is a former television host, journalist, and news anchor. Born in 1980 in Jacksonville, Florida, she grew up in a military family and later graduated from the University of Florida. Leya began her career in journalism, working as a reporter and anchor for various local news stations. In 2018, she married Ron DeSantis, who was then the U.S. Representative for Florida's 6th congressional district. When Ron DeSantis became the Governor of Florida in 2019, Leya took on the role of First Lady.
