Majid Husain is an Indian geographer with a distinguished career spanning several decades. He has been a professor of geography at several Indian universities, including the University of Delhi and Aligarh Muslim University. Husain has also served as the President of the Indian National Committee of International Geographical Union (IGU) and as a member of the National Council of Geographical Research, India.
