"1408" is a psychological horror film directed by Mikael Håfström, based on the short story of the same name by Stephen King. The movie follows Mike Enslin (played by John Cusack), a writer who specializes in debunking supernatural claims. Mike checks into room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel, which has a notorious reputation for being haunted. Despite warnings from the hotel's manager and other guests, Mike decides to spend the night in the room, only to experience a series of terrifying and unexplained events.
