Resident Evil, also known as Biohazard in Japan, is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. The game follows Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, members of an elite law enforcement agency known as S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Service), as they investigate a mysterious mansion where a series of bizarre murders has taken place.
