The Smart City Mission (SCM) was launched by the Government of India in 2015 to promote sustainable and inclusive urban development. As part of this mission, the Smart Cities Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) was set up to integrate various city services and infrastructure. SMAC 2.0 (Smart Monitoring and Control) is an upgraded version of the ICCC, which aims to provide a unified platform for city operations and citizen engagement.
