As Thomas splashed around in the water, Tessa swam further and further away from him, her laughter echoing off the surrounding trees. Suddenly, she got a bit too close to the waterfall that fed into the swimming hole. The current was stronger than she had anticipated, and before she knew it, she was being swept over the edge.
