Sunitha's musical journey began when she was just eight years old, performing as a child artist on various TV shows and stage events. Her talent and dedication caught the attention of prominent music directors, leading to her first playback singing assignment for the Telugu film "Sankeertana" in 1997. Her breakthrough, however, came with the song "O Priya Priya" from the movie "Preyasi" in 1999, which earned her critical acclaim and recognition.
