The story begins with the introduction of the protagonist, who is a member of a guild in a virtual reality game called "Elder Tale." However, he finds himself transported to the game world, where he must navigate a new reality. The protagonist soon discovers that his neighbor is a powerful guild member, known as Shinku, who is also a part of his guild.
