The movie revolves around Ishaan Awasthi (played by Darsheel Safary), an 8-year-old boy who struggles with dyslexia, a learning disorder that makes it difficult for him to read and write. Despite his exceptional creativity and imagination, Ishaan faces ridicule and humiliation from his teachers and peers, leaving him feeling isolated and demotivated. Enter Ram Shankar Nikumbh (played by Aamir Khan), a temporary art teacher who recognizes Ishaan's potential and takes him under his wing. With patience, empathy, and innovative teaching methods, Nikumbh helps Ishaan overcome his challenges and discover his true capabilities.
